Shoreline from blurscape series. Shoreline is a study in the fleeting geometry of the coast. By stripping away the sharp edges of reality through intentional movement I wanted to capture the rhythm of the tide rather than its physical form. In this work the landscape is reduced to its most essential elements: the deep indigo of a gathering storm a piercing sliver of light reflecting off the surf and the warm copper sands of the beach. It is an exploration of that quiet meditative space where the sea meets the sky. A moment of pure atmospheric abstraction.
