ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: ABSTRACT HEAVENLY TREE
Over the mountains we traveled from the coast of California over to the Lake Tahoe area. Gorgeous country it is, through verdant forests and grasslands. This dead tree caught my attention pointing skyward with it's bark twisting and turning showing off wonderful textures. I captured a photograph and then later decided I needed to make a more abstract panorama version to properly emphasize the textures, but tall this time...not wide as is normally seen. As if to say you are not the only one who is beautiful, the adjoining tree was exhibiting wonderful Autumn colors of it's own.
