Maybe the most photographed lighthouse in Maine and New England is the Portland Head Lighthouse, located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, close to Massachusetts. I've been here several times and never tire of the beautiful display of waves crashing on the cliffs. This day in winter, the waves were up against the orange Alpenglow of the setting sun just after sunset. The colors were changing minute by minute.
