During a phase of limited mobility just preceding COVID, neither could I hold my heavy camera, nor could I move. That got me started painting on the cellphone screen with my index finger. Gradually I moved to other digital devices. Now, on terra firma, I returned to the DSLR and lenses. In the interim, I ventured towards oil paintings, impasto on canvas. The creative possibilities are vast. I prefer making abstracts, expressionist portraits, both, with paints and painting with the camera. Who knows where else all this will lead me.
