SUR CETTE OEUVRE: NORMANDY BEACH BATHING HUTS
A colorful beach cabin located in the French sand dunes, greet visitors along the coastline of France in Gouville sur Mer. These colorful beach cottages line the water each with a colorful roof and millwork. Hikers, and bike riders line the local roads, a favorite family pastime especially on the weekends.

Situated opposite the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey, this seaside resort is known for it's charm and family character. Alongside tourism, agriculture and especially oyster and mussel farming remain the mainstays of the local economy. Some of the seafood farms are located in the waters below the beach huts in the dark stripes below. Gouville-sur-Mer prides itself on being "the capital of the oyster of open sea". Recently, sea urchin farms have also been initiated.
