I am an artist, storyteller, and believer in beauty that rises from stillness.
My work blends abstract mixed media painting with narrative illustration—layering symbolism, texture, and soul to create portraits of women who rule from where they are. Whether seated in a throne, a wheelchair, or the wild landscape of their own becoming, each figure I paint is a sovereign: graceful, powerful, and unapologetically present.
As a disabled artist, I create from a lived truth that informs every brushstroke. I’ve known pain, limitation, and the pressure to overcome. But instead of rising above, I rose within. My seated perspective is not a setback—it’s a source of vision. And it’s this lens that shaped my signature collection, Seated Sovereigns—a body of work devoted to women who never needed to stand to rise.
My art lives where myth meets emotion, where wings and wildflowers speak in quiet rebellion. I work in both digital and traditional mediums, often blending the two to achieve depth and atmosphere. Lace, burlap, vintage signs, and symbolic collage are layered into each piece to honor the contrast between fragility and force—between what the world sees and what power truly looks like.
