This is one of my favorite quotes. Photography gives me the opportunity to live this. No two painters paint the same picture. No two people live the same life. And through the lens of a camera everyone experiences a different image. On occasion I blog and on many more occasions I take photos. But I have no desire to study writing styles or photography styles. Why would I want to live someone else's life? I am much more inspired by the authenticity that resulted in a style. To me, the greatest irony of life is that the thing that is most missing in the world is that which we each already have - our authenticity - and at the mere cost of vulnerability, it's such a prince of a price to pay for peace within us and among us. It is our authenticity that we should each offer to each other. I think authenticity is the source of peace for each of us and for the world. People are craving authenticity. That's what Art is - I can't draw a stick figure but I love to take photos and share them. I don't take photos to produce and sell wall art. That just happens to be an authentic result of who I am and what I like to do. So I am now partnering with a professional lab to turn what I like to do into wall art with many choices of size, style and format. It is my pleasure to meet you where we both are at this moment in time - in the present. The only time that really matters.
