I grew up in art classes for painting and drawing that trained my eye for light, form, and perspective. Those early lessons still guide how I see. My grandfather was the one who opened the door to photography, though I did not own a camera until digital DSLRs made it possible.
Photography became more serious while recovering from an injury, when I revisited a large archive of images and explored stock photography. The experience sharpened my technical skills in composition, aperture, and ISO, but also revealed the limits of stock work and pushed me toward a more personal path.
My practice now combines traditional photography with digital manipulation of my own images, creating works that range from faithful scenes to painterly or graphic compositions. Travel, landscapes, and overlooked details often become the subjects of my fine art photography prints.
Recognition includes first place in a Kathimerini newspaper competition on the theme Greece in the Winter and an award from Vodafone for the theme Red. I have also photographed live performances for well known Greek artists, experiences that strengthened my sense of visual storytelling.
All of the pieces in this gallery are my own creations and not AI generated. While I value technology, I believe creativity should remain human. With encouragement from family and friends, many of them artists, I have made my work available as gallery quality prints. My hope is that one of these pieces speaks to you and brings something lasting to your space.
