I am a professional writer (Toronto Star, Ontario Home Builder magazine, Horse Sport) and while I often take photos to accompany my work, my passion is nature photography.
I enjoy sharing the amazing wild birds, animals and landscapes I encounter in and around walks around my hometown of Cobourg, Ontario, as well as other places my travels take me too. I want to inspire others to discover the wild world that may be found as close as their own backyards!
My love for nature photography has also inspired trips to Newfoundland to photograph Atlantic puffins and other seabirds, and to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico to shoot the vibrant pink flamingos, egrets, herons and frigate birds found there.
Horses are another passion of mine and I enjoy taking photos of my own pinto palomino, Peaches, and other horses at work, play and rest. My golden mountain doodle dog, Cheddar, is another favourite subject.
I use a Canon EOS R and my wildlife lens of choice is a Canon RF 100-500.
