My name is India Coe.
I am originally from Los Angeles, California. Still, my roots stretch deep into the heart of Alabama, where I spent many long summers as a preteen, surrounded by family in the countryside. This mix of urban energy and Southern charm has profoundly influenced my artistic vision. I specialize in urban and landscape photography, captivated by the dynamic interplay between the natural world and human-made structures. This fascination leads me to explore how these elements coexist and contrast in unexpected ways.
My photography journey initially began in Los Angeles, but it was my move to the serene landscapes of southwest Florida that ignited my true passion. As a self-taught photographer, I have honed my skills through practice and experimentation, complemented by formal education at the State College of Florida-Bradenton, where I earned a certificate in Digital Photography. In addition to my early influences, my travels to the lush sceneries of Southwest India, West Africa, and Jamaica have enriched my perspective and artistry. Each location offers a unique tapestry of vibrant colors, rich textures, and captivating landscapes that inspire my work. The lush greenery of India, the dynamic rhythms of West Africa, and the breathtaking coastlines of Jamaica have deepened my appreciation for the diversity of nature's beauty.
In my photography, I strive to encapsulate the vibrant energy of nature, capturing moments when colors are at their most intense and alive. Each image I share reflects my belief in the beauty of our world, bursting with life and color, inviting viewers to see through my lens.
