The art at Crawley train station was a project funded by Sussex Rail Partnership, organised by the artist working with schools, other artists and community groups. Several large boards were created by the artist, to be hung at the station. As there were a variety of styles, ability and ages of participants, (from 4 years to over 40) a crow in flight was placed on each completed collaged board to tie all of the images together making the a cohesive body of work. Once in place they created the illusion of a crow in flight when viewed from a moving train, guiding the passenger on a safe journey.
This project has been nominated for the prestigious community rail award by Sussex Rail Partnership http://www.acorp.uk.com/Community%20Rail%20Awards%20Main%202010.html
