Terri Phillips-Mierkey graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco with a BA in Advertising with aspirations to work for Disney – after receiving her AAS in marketing she interned at Disney World, though the experience was inspirational her career found her in Upstate New York as a marketing director for a large general contractor. After six years she was let go. It was the best thing that ever happened to her! Today, in her early 50’s, married and living and working in the Bay Area as a marketing manager in the solar industry, she’s more creative than ever – her mediums: paint, computer graphic design, and photography. "When I see something I really, really, like - the image itself will tell me what I should do with it - it took years to allow myself to listen with my eyes and to create with my heart!”
