For a number of years, I was a wildlife and landscape photographer. My favorite subjects were birds, primarily the large wading birds which you can find in my Wildlife Collection. After a fall several years ago, I injured my knees and have been unable to do the walking and hiking that photography requires. Since that time, I’ve been working with a Wacom HD22 and stylus to create digital art…patterns, mandalas, watercolor, pop art, etc. I sometimes use subjects that I have photographed in the past as a reference for my digital paintings and watercolors, on others I use photos from wildlifereferencephotos.com as my reference.
My work has appeared in Ohio Magazine in both print (July '17 two-page spread) and online, and in Three Cities in both print (September/October 2014 cover) and online.
If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to assist you!
