I am a native of the city of Philadelphia, where attended Alvernia University and received a degree in counseling. Later I complete a MS in psychology and a minor in art at Troy University.
I practiced art therapy for decades and found my work to be rewarding. I learned to observe people objectively. In the human face there are endless expressions of emotions and feelings which often is a map of life experiences. The goal I strive for in my paintings is for the viewer to find a story he or she sees that is comes from their personal point of view. My paintings are conversational pieces.
