In 2010 Radu left his medicine career and made the first steps in the photography world with a Nikon D3100 and from then his passion turned into a profession. Once the needs grew, Radu invested in more technologically advanced cameras which were necessary to capture more and more fascinating travel images. His firsts interests were nature, travel and macro photography and with the apparition of drones, the aerial images became a priority in terms of possibility to document the world in spectacular new ways. Radu's skills flying drones have developed over 4 years and he has over 300 flying hours undertaking filming and aerial photography. His equipment includes now a Mavic Air 2 drone, a mirrorless Sony a7R III camera and various lenses.
One tree planted for every print. Pictorem supports Trees for the Future, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, that operates an agroforesty program to restore trees to degraded lands by working with smallholder farmers.
