Hi, I’m Michel, and love making my artwork available on various media. I’ve been at this since 1986 and includes five years working as a professional lab technician in Old Montreal processing color negative/slide film for local ad agencies & studios.
Shortly after a move to Kingston, Ontario in 2002, I made the jump to the digital medium from film, this allowed me to begin to "marry” my computer skills to my photography.
The year 2007 found me expanding my subject matter to include nature & wildlife subjects; my love of the art, I believe, is self-evident. My continued evolution in style & technique propels my passion unabated.
Now semi-retired, my wife and I now live on Cape Breton Island in the quaint Acadian fishing village of Cheticamp. If you happen to be in the area, there's a high likelihood you’ll find us out-and-about somewhere along the Cabot Trail creating new images or chatting it up with visiting tourists.
Bald Eagles, Great Blue Heron’s, various songbirds, deer, & moose are but a small part of my collection along with land & seascapes. Of late, I’ve expanded my offerings to include an aerial perspective of the area. My artwork has sold both locally as well as internationally.
As a Canadian artist, I’m proud to have a little something for everyone.
