Hello,
My name is Michaela and I'm currently based in Melbourne Australia having relocated from Brisbane, driven solo to Perth Western Australia then to Melbourne Victoria - a very, very long story.
Irrespective of the weather, my lens allows me to capture special moments in time which often take my breath away. These moments are reminders of the timeless and fleeting beauty of our natural environment. Some a stone's throw away, others further afield, and brings home an appreciation of how precious and fleeting these moments are.
Every moment we witness is one never to be repeated, whether we watch a sunset or sunrise, waves rolling in from the ocean, an incoming or outgoing tide, walking through a garden beneath tall shade trees, flowing rivers, or flowers in full bloom.
The uniqueness of each moment is the reason I'm passionate about capturing these special moments in time.
A little self-promotion of achievements:
One of my 'golden hour' shots taken at Lake Wivenhoe Queensland Australia was chosen for a tourist sign inbound / outbound on the Warrego Highway just outside of Brisbane. There are strict guidelines about images for road signage and I continue to be grateful mine passed.
