Bio:
Kim grew up in the small Northwestern Ontario town of Keewatin (now a suburb of Kenora, Canada) nestled between the shores of Lake of the Woods and the Winnipeg River. Surrounded by boreal forest and etched amidst the Canadian Shield, the rugged landscapes and creatures within has inspired a lifelong passion for nature and the great outdoors. Along with a wanderlust to travel and explore distant lands, she endulges her creative spirit through photography, capturing images and moments frozen in time. Eager to nurture environmental awareness and appreciation of the natural world we live in and wanting to share visions of other lands, Kim captures and creates visual scenes worthy of print for wall art.
She has had works featured in art gallery exhibits, numerous print publications, outdoor signage, tourism websites and commercial projects. Her art is sold nationwide and is enjoyed both in private homes as well as hotels.
