Joy Watson - Natural Light Specialist in Nature Photography
Welcome to my portfolio. My passion is to reveal natures beauty in both texture and tones.
I am an award winning photographer who has been specialising in the use of natural light for almost fifteen years.
Growing up in Melbourne, Australia my passion began by studying and experimenting in the world of insects from behind the lens. My macro photography speciality then progressed into floral photography. I fell in love with nature’s beauty in both structure and tones captured by the depth of field of the camera.
I have customised my own technique in reflecting natural light back onto the subject to enhance all details and wonderful tones.
My work has received awards in both Better Photography Magazine and Light, Space and Time Online Gallery. Publications are in both digital and printed magazines which includes Digital SLR Photography Magazine and Garden Tripod Online Magazine.
My use of light and details will capture your imagination and invites you on a journey.
