Donald Presnell, Fine Artist, (retired Industrial Designer)
Don's product designs can be seen in virtually any city, on the street-scape, in restaurants, theme parks, hotels or in office buildings.
Don has designed well-known products for over thirty years for large multi-national manufacturers such as Honda, Suzuki, Fisher-Price and Rubbermaid Commercial Products. His designs are found as toys, children's highchairs in public restaurants, high-aesthetic street furniture & refuse receptacles, motorcycles, ATVs, janitorial carts, trolleys and housekeeping carts to name a few.
He is a native of Anaheim, California, and began his art training at the age of 13, studying painting under Dale Rousey of Laguna Beach, California. He continued his art/design training as a glass blower, then later in college earned a BSID, Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Design (Product and Transportation Design) with Honors, from world-renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA in 1983.
He is now retired from the corporate world of Product Design, and works daily in his Art Studio on the Chesapeake Bay of Virginia, USA.
Don actively supports the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and donates a percentage of each purchase to that foundation, helping to keep the Chesapeake Bay healthy and vibrant.
