Carl Wuttke was one of the best known "painters travelers" of the nineteenth century. Wuttke made his training in Germany, already since 1874 began his travels in Italy where he portrayed the most beautiful places - from Rome to Sicily - relying on a method of composition derived from the rules of classical landscape painting.
Successful painter for his paintings certainly appeal to a clientele inernazionale, starting in the 90s began a few trips to various locations around the world from America to Egypt, until arriving in China and Japan.
