Welcome to the Art Gallery of Stephen Emms - I live in Thunder Bay, Northwestern Ontario, Canada. I am a watercolour/acrylic painting artist, as well as a photographer. I have worked my entire life outdoors, often in remote locations, which has contributed to my understanding of the natural world. For me, art and photography are both relaxing and exhilarating, and every picture is a moment of wonder. I am fortunate to live where I do, with access to Lake Superior and the wilderness of Northwestern Ontario. I think Lake Superior, with its vastness, untouched beauty, rich history, diverse weather patterns, and inherent dangers, makes it one of the most incredible places in the world.
