I believe the old masters are the best artists that ever lived, given their resources, the times they lived in, their level of craftsmanship and the size and depth of the art they produced. I attempt to pay homage to these artists by creating my own digital versions of their paintings using contemporary imagery that I find online, but adding my own particular creative twist to create something new.

My art is produced as large digital prints on stretched canvas, in sizes ranging from four to eight feet wide. I believe that these large sizes give these amazing stories and compositions a power that smaller images do not have. I hope my art also imparts to the viewer some appreciation of art history and the beauty that these early pioneers labored to create.
