I have always had a love for art and creative exploration for as long as I can remember. I took art classes in school every chance I could, from woodworking, illustration, ceramics and graphic design. When I graduated high school, my mother gifted me my first DSLR camera that I still love and use today. I have used that camera to photograph everything from scenic landscapes to weddings and most everything in between. To date, my photos have been a part of many international exhibitions.
The colors, movement and beauty I saw in my camera lens led me to the fascinating world of mixed media and fluid art. Now I work with all types of media, including watercolors, acrylics and alcohol ink.
I am inspired by everything around me whether it is a breathtaking sunrise or a trail walk through fall trees with my husband and two dogs. I love to listen to music while I create my abstract pieces and it often will influence the brush strokes, colors or the way I tilt my canvas.
I hope that my art brings you as much joy as it brought me to create it and I appreciate your support.
