Throughout 2022, artist Garry Tosti made multiple visits to Château Avensac in the south of France. His visits inspired him to take camera in hand, and hunt for fascinating moments to capture on film. The first series, 'The Secret Gardens of the Château", are close ups of petite flora growing out of the crevices of the ancient battlements. These buttressed stone walls were erected in 1320 to support and protect the terraces, and the castle. Your purchase and enjoyment of Garry's work benefit the Château directly and help support the continuing restoration work. Each of Garry's photographs are printed on HD Aluminum allowing incredible depth of color, framed or unframed, or Giclée art prints delivered rolled up in a mailing tube. Each photograph is available in multiple sizes, and multiple price points through our partnership with pictorem. We are currently shipping for free within the continental United States and Canada. Giclée art prints are available to ship worldwide, with a low cost shipping fee. For HD Metal prints, shipping outside of the US and Canada, please contact us at atthechateau@goffengel.com
We sincerely thank you for your support of Château Avensac, and Garry Tosti artistry.
Garry Tosti has been a commercial graphic designer for the past 42 years. He has had bursts of inspiration sprinkled among those years expressed through painting, photography, designing and creating elaborate costumes and other artistic pursuits. With the recent purchase of an iPhone 13 Pro, making use of its incredible camera has become a current means of creative expression. This selection of images printed on aluminum were taken on the battlements of Chateau Avensac. Flowers, ivy and other plants adorn the ancient stone support walls surrounding the chateau, creating miniature “secret gardens" if one looks closely. These images were captured in the month of May and Garry is planning future visits, during other seasons, to see how these wonderful gardens evolve and change.
