SUR CETTE OEUVRE: KIKUYAKKO
This artwork portraits the legendary geisha Kikuyakko in Gustav Klimt art nouveau style. Kikuyakko was one of the most influential geishas of the 19th century during the Edo period in Japan. She was known for her exceptional talent in dance and music, and became the protege of the shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu.
