Chuck Burdick is a self-taught photographer working in multiple genres including macro, landscape, and abstract photography. He seeks to capture beauty in this world with emphasis on shape, colour, and texture. He owns and works for CRB Images. He resides in Comox, British Columbia. Since 2008 Mr. Burdick has won nine awards including two “First Place”, three “Runner-up”, and two “Best in Show”. His photograph of Trinity, Newfoundland is on the cover of the 2018 Spring issue of Catholic Missions in Canada magazine; his Newfoundland photography is featured in the June 2018 issue of Downhome magazine's Sure Shot section. Mr. Burdick is a member of the Pearl Ellis Art Gallery in Comox and displays at member shows. His photography is sold to individuals and business organizations by Image Conscious, an art publishing house in San Francisco, and through FineArtAmerica. He currently is selling photography cards at the Comox Air Force Museum, the Pearl Ellis Gallery in Comox, and the Laughing Oyster Bookshop in Courtenay, British Columbia. Mr. Burdick has published five books of his photographs – his latest is titled “Non-Visible Light Photography, An Exploration of the. Comox Valley in British Columbia". This book on infrared photography is now for sale in Cumberland, Courtenay, and Comox book and gift shops.” The latest book can also be purchased by contacting him at [email protected].
