My name is Steve "T-Rex" Trexler, and I'm a photographer residing in the Denver Colorado Metro area where I've lived since August of 1987. I am retired from a professional accounting career and have since spent my time traveling wherever and whenever I can. Having been a former scout leader for over 26 years, I became an avid hiker, backpacker, and mountain climber. In so doing, I have planned numerous hiking, backpacking, and climbing trips, for not just the scouts, but the many personal friends that I've enjoyed hiking with through the years. After spending so much time in the outdoors, I naturally took up photography in order to record for posterity, the many trips that I've been on.

SUR CETTE OEUVRE: THE SERENITY PRAYER
This image was born on 10/19/2021 at 1:12pm on an beautiful fall day as we drove Highway 1 south of the town of Big Sur, CA. It was taken at a location called “Vista Point” looking south along the Pacific Coast Highway near Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in California. This vista is one of the most serene and captivating locations along this stretch of the PCH, and why this image was selected as a backdrop to The Serenity Prayer. The Serenity Prayer is said before every Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meeting, and as such is foundational precept for each program; AA for alcoholics and Al-Anon for the friends and family of alcoholics. The prayer asks for calmness, courage, and wisdom to navigate life’s challenges by accepting what cannot be changed, yet changing what can, and being given the wisdom to tell the difference. The Serenity Prayer has considerable meaning to me because I've been involved with the Al-Anon program since 2001.
