Giving Birth to Stone depicts the connectivity of generations and what makes us up spiritually and physically. This was painted after the artist witnessed the birth of her grandson. "He emerged the color of stone. Upon his first breath, he illuminated in full color and a new part of creation was born. I saw my own daughter, in a way I could have never previously witnessed.
