Lana Evanova, a contemporary artist from Eastern Europe (lanaevanova.com) based in Vienna, Austria, refined her craft at the Austin Peay College of Arts and Letters while embarking on extensive travels. Her individual exhibitions include notable displays like ‘Garden of Gods’ at The Artists’ Gallery in Canon City, US (2001), ‘Radiance of Faces’ in Medora, Canon City, US (2001), and ‘Winter Muses’ at the Marriott in London (2015). Noteworthy among her collective showcases are ‘Inside The Beauty’ at the Annarumma Gallery in Napoli (2002), ‘Patterns in Perspective’ at Lumiere Gallery in Moscow (2012), as well as her participation in esteemed events like Art Fiera in Bologna, Italy (2024), and art KARLSRUHE in Germany (2024). Lana comes from a family deeply ingrained in the arts. Her father, a talented poet, penned numerous verses dedicated to Lana’s mother. Meanwhile, her grandfather exhibited his paintings in galleries across Europe, and her great-uncle earned acclaim for his exceptional novels and screenplays. Undoubtedly, Lana’s rich artistic lineage has influenced her pursuits. During her leisure time, she delves into painting and writing, though she often keeps the latter private, describing it as “for the desk drawer.” Lana’s artistic inclinations veer towards fauvism, impressionism, contemporary, and AI-inspired styles in the arts.
