ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: WHISPERS OF LIGHT: SAINT SIMONS LIGHTHOUSE ENCHANTMENT
One sunny morning my wife and I embarked on a delightful journey to Saint Simons Island in Georgia accompanied by our beloved pup Cooper. Our mission? To capture the charm of the islands iconic lighthouse during the day surrounded by vibrant red foliage with majestic palm trees and live oaks framing the lighthouse. As we arrived at the lighthouse Coopers tail wagged with excitement eager to explore this new and intriguing place. The air was filled with the sweet scent of salt air and the bright foliage added a pop of color to the scene. After setting up and finding my shot I chose to capture this image with my 590nm infrared filter. As the sun rose higher in the sky casting its warm glow over the island we clicked away capturing the beauty of the lighthouse and its surroundings. The palm trees swayed gently in the breeze adding a tropical flair to the scene. It was a moment of pure magic frozen in time for us to cherish forever. As we bid farewell to Saint Simons Island Cooper happily trotting alongside us we knew this day was filled with unforgettable memories. And as we drove home our hearts were full grateful for the opportunity to explore such a beautiful and enchanting place together.
