There’s an old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. I believe that an image can stir such strong emotions that a thousand words wouldn’t be enough to express it. Sometimes an image simply brings a single word to mind, or sometimes it inspires full poetry. An image might stir memories, make you laugh, make you cry, or make you feel at peace. I believe images speak a truth that is hard to express and that we should give ourselves time to soak in - whether a precious memory, a reminder of beauty, or the pull of a connection. The same image can speak in different ways to different people. This is a collection of what I heard. Seek out the images that makes you feel good, that make you smile, or inspire you to be better. I dedicate my art to my son, who I love dearly, am incredibly proud of and, many times, in awe of. He encourages me to try new things, forgives my many mistakes, knows how to make me laugh, and inspires me to be courageous.
