ABOUT ANTONIO ABUSSI
Follow

Maestro Antonio Abussi, recognized by the Florence Chamber of Commerce and the Tuscany Region, Italy. Born in Naples from a family for three generations in the artistic field. When I was very young I moved to Castiglione Del Lago in Umbria where I had my first Artistic Studio, after a brief presence in Milan I landed in Tuscany. Working as a decorator in ceramic firms in Florence, I fell in love with the material making it my passion with objects of Italian historical tradition, technological innovation and designers. I definitely settled in Lastra a Signa near Florence where with one of my activities I have been in the Italian excellence of production and a regular exporter for the major art galleries in the world. For years I have been in the center of the city of Florence where I live and teach art. I have always worked also in the social field to help disabled people with my artistic and work experience, also creating international projects for their job placement. My works are all over the world as ceramics and as paintings made with ancient, modern and secret techniques! Some are exhibited in the Tuscan Museums, many in private and public art galleries as in municipalities and commercial entities. My art studio in Florence includes a small museum where my creations are exhibited. One of these represented Italy at the only International Conference on Artistic Crafts which took place in Berlin in the 90s.
