CARNEY PHOTOGRAPHY While working in the Midwest and other parts of the country, I always try to find natural beauty and interesting people. Through my photography, I attempt to document our world, with a focus on the magic found in daily life. I started in photojournalism working for my family's community newspapers. I went on to work for the Associated Press, Des Moines Register, and Omaha World-Herald. I have also done contract work for Reuters, AFP, National Geographic, the New York Times, and the Washington Post. My portfolio photographs are captured with drones or mirrorless DSLR cameras.
