George Bloise was born in the Caribbean during the mid 1950’s. From a young age George demonstrated a passion for the arts. Throughout his High School years he attended an after hours vocational school where he graduated as an Architectural Draftsman. He later furthered his education by attending Miguel Such School in San Juan Puerto Rico. Here he studied Graphic Design and was trained in charcoal drawing and serigraphy.
As a young artist in the 1970’s George went on to work at various design companies where he painted murals, created art for posters, signs, decals, screening. This was all during an era where computers and printers were not mainstream. Throughout this time in his early career George never stopped looking for ways to expand his artistic abilities. He attended courses at the School of Plastic Arts and Design subjects such as classic art, watercolor, local crafts.
He also took classes in commercial photography and Architecture & Design in a private institute.
Today 2019 George opens his own gallery on the web bloisegallery.com to exhibit his works of digital art. Having more than twenty years of experience working with large corporations as Art Director, today he embarks on a new phase of his life creating his own works of digital art on canvas, sculptures, metal and 3-dimensional crafts.
